Raising and Lowering Your Vibration.

What is your vibration?

It can be said that humans are simply fields of energy. We are made up of matter, which is made up of atoms, which are made up of protons, electrons, and neutrons, which are made up of tiny particles of kinetic energy (41). So, when you hear the word “vibration,” think of your field of energy or  your energetic state. When your vibration is low, your energetic state is low. Your thoughts, actions, and beliefs are negative. The realities you attract into your life are related to your ego or shadow. Conversely, when your vibration is high, your energetic state is high. Your thoughts, actions, and beliefs are positive. The realities you attract into your life are related to your soul and higher self. 


Why does it matter?

When you understand your vibration, you become more self aware. You understand both your shadow side and your higher self side and that both sides are valid. 


When you understand your vibration, you understand your emotions. You are able to recognize what triggers you, not so that you can avoid those things, rather so that you can continue to heal them in order to increase your confidence, make stronger decisions, and reduce your anxieties. 


When you understand your vibration, you understand that you are responsible for the life you have created. You recognize that you attract into your life what you are. Thus, if you are attracting in instability, fear, judgement, or shame, you yourself have a low vibration. Alternatively, when you attract in peace, love, harmony, genuine connection, abundance, you yourself have a higher vibration.


When you understand your vibration, you provide the space for personal growth. You begin to understand what makes you who you are. You are able to perform self-assessments in order to identify areas in your life where your vibration can be raised, where you can improve, and where there is room for growth. 


When you understand your vibration, you begin to create the life you want and you recognize you are worthy of it. Oftentimes, when we live in our lower vibration, we feel like we are unworthy of a higher timeline. The truth is, not one person walking this Earth is perfect and each and every person is worthy of love, peace, acceptance. You may have to experience consequences for your actions, however, you always have a choice to choose God’s path again.

Why does it matter?

When we lower our vibration, we weaken ourselves. Our boundaries start to crumble and the ability to be controlled increases. 


If you are sitting around reading this and wishing your life was better, it might be a sign to take a little self assessment. What actions are you taking, patterns you are accepting, or thoughts you are creating that are bringing you up? What actions are you taking, patterns you are accepting, or thoughts you are creating that are tearing you down? If more is tearing you down then bringing you up, it could be time to make some changes. It is important to remember that the more you make changes to raise your vibration, the more light/goodness/love/higher vibrational experiences will come to you and the more the darkness/bad/hate/lower vibrational experiences will fall away from you. It all starts with you. If you are feeling stucking, recognize that you have the power to make the changes you need. Make one small step toward light to start digging yourself out of the hole you have created.

Why does it matter?

When you raise your vibration, you strengthen yourself. Your boundaries start to improve and the ability for others to control you weakens. You begin to live as your true and authentic self. You begin to see why God has placed you on the earth and you begin to follow His path for you. Choosing to live in a higher vibration may not always be what society deems as the “cool” thing to do, however, it is what pays off in the end. When we choose to turn away from what everyone thinks is “cool” at the moment, you will eventually experience delayed gratification. Overtime, you will rise so high it will feel like heaven on Earth.
